PATH: Admin Console > Select the Application from the left side bar > Click on the Settings Icon> General Settings > Advanced > Advanced Options page appears
Inside the page for Advanced Options, the user can create conditions to ignore specific selectors by clicking the Add Condition button. Any created conditions, will ignore the dynamic selectors there by allowing precise selection.
Once clicked, conditions can be created as listed:
- A dropdown button appears against IF/OR IF condition where the user can select the desired selectors from the dropdown.

- Enter the selector value to be ignored.
More conditions can be added by clicking the button. Similarly, the added conditions can be removed by clicking the button.
If Function is selected as the selector, a new dropdown appears where the user can select the desired function and can add the Function Body on the space provided.

In order to configure different number of environments for different apps in one instance, a facility to toggle environment is brought inside Apty Admin Console.
PATH: Admin Console > Select the Application from the left sidebar > Click on the Settings Icon > Environments Setup
Earlier, the user was supposed to enable and publish all the added environments for which the number of environments remains the same for every application.
In this release, the admin user is provided with the provision to toggle the environment as desired if more than two environments are added. In this way as per the requirement, admin's can configure different number of environments for different apps in one instance.
By default, all the toggle keys will be disabled and the user can manually enable them as per requirement. Once the environment is enabled and saved, the user can view the enabled environments wherever publishing is involved.
Admin user can view all the enabled environments and its publish status against the Custom JS option.
Inside Apty Studio also, enabled environments will be listed while publishing the contents.
NOTE: Toggling Option will be available for all environment setups, except the Main environment Setup
IDP Initiated SSO for admins
PATH: At the bottom of the left side panel click the Settings icon > On the System Settings screen click on SSO Config
Apty now supports IDP initiated SSO. This upgrade aims to make logging in simple and more secure for your admins.
Previous versions of Apty supported only Service Provider (SP) initiated SSO. But from this release, Apty customers can integrate Apty Admin Console with their existing Identity Provider (such as Azure Active Directory, Okta, etc.). So, admins will be able to log in to the Apty Admin Console from the enterprise SSO Identity Provider (IDP) with just one click. It not only secures the login process but also saves the trouble of maintaining separate login credentials for the SP, in this case, Apty Admin Console.
Apty has laid the framework to support all IDPs. Here is an example of how it can be integrated using Azure Active Directory.
Note that currently, IDP SSO is supported only for Apty Admin Console on SAML Protocol.
Before initiating IDP SSO, all the required email/user accounts must be created and activated in the Apty Admin for the tenant.
Custom White Labeling
PATH: Apty Admin Console > At the left bottom corner of the screen > Click on System settings > Clink on Branding
In the prior version 4.8, the functionality of White Labeling was enabled, which had options available for our partners to rebrand the applications of Apty. With the latest release 4.10, introduction of Custom White Labeling gives license to clients or partners to rebrand and use their own brand icon in the exported Workflow file.
How to add Custom White Labeling?
In the Brand Customization screen, there is a option for our partners to rebrand the Brand Icon. Here, you can personalize the icon by replacing the default with the link to your company logo.
Custom White Labeling lets you to add the brand icon in exported workflow file to provide your consumers with a branded experience. Here, you can personalize the logo in the exported file by including a link to your company's logo in the "Brand Logo" section. You can see the results in before and after images of the exported file page.
What’s New in Apty Studio?
Workflows: An ability to avoid Balloon disappearing
In the previous versions of Apty, during the execution of Workflow with Apty Widget (the Player), users were not able to see the balloon until the complete element is displayed on the screen. This was a hurdle because the user needed to bring 100% of the element on the screen each time to get the on-screen guidance.
With this latest enhancement, users can enable the following box in Extended options during Workflow creation: Display when outside the viewport in the Apty Studio. By clicking on this box user can see the balloon even though the complete element is not visible.
What’s New in User Experience?
Auto-positioning for Balloons
Apty offers 12 predefined positions to locate the balloon around the element it belongs to. With the latest version 4.10, for Apty Widget (the Player), we have enabled auto-position as the default option. This new feature will adjust the balloon automatically in any alternate position to show the balloon on the screen, only when the selected balloon position goes out of the screen.
This feature will make clients or partners simplify the user experience by providing on-screen guidance at the moment of need without scrolling or adjusting the webpage.
Workflow Failure Mail
Admins will now receive comprehensive email notifications about Workflow failures. Apty has assigned Cron jobs to run on each one of the applications you are hosting. The periodically running Cron jobs get executed at 11:30 PM CT (Central Time) from Monday to Friday and they gather information related to workflow failures in the past 24 hours. If any workflow failure occurs in that period, the user will get a well-structured email, as shown below.
